I would just like to take a moment & tell you about the experience we had with Alesa Ottaway. We needed to sell my mother’s home in Phoenix Arizona, and she was referred to me by a close friend of mine...I presently live in Idaho and needed someone that would be able to give us the special attention that was going to be needed to sell this home. I had conversations with a few real estate agents in Phoenix, but after having many conversations with her over the phone and I could tell by her conversation & attitude, that she would be the perfect person to help us.

You’ve been so great Alesa! I’m so thankful that you were our realtor. To be honest, I’ve had some disappointing experiences with realtors. Our last realtor helped us with sale and purchase of three properties. She earned a large sum of money on easy sales and new home purchase. When everything was completed, she never gave a token thank you or anything. The kindness you showed to my mom with flowers, responsiveness, gift cards, professionalism, and quality effort at the front end to enable a quick sale is so appreciated. Thank you for everything. 

This is the realtor who "saved us." After we got royally screwed on the house on Paradise Lane (two weeks' notice to move out) this lady popped up on a house we were looking at when rushing to get out. Her house, she was representing, wasn't available anymore. Long story short, she represented us for finding a rental. Got us the house on Krystal. Did an amazing job.  Here's where she saved us: able to get us in first to look at homes (telling them about our situation) and then that fine print in contracts.  Only one bad fine print for Krystal. She saved us on the fine print with the house on 52nd. That fine print was really bad for us.  


Then she got us this house. Was able to make it so the seller had to replace roof on their dime not ours. 



So, I wanted to tell you about her for when you move. She really goes the distance and knows her stuff. She is worth using.   🙂

The following may have interest for some of you that need a reference for an agent in the Phoenix/Scottsdale/Paradise Valley area.

My stepmother passed away late last year. The family trust asked me to list the home as I was the only licensed relative. Although familiar with the home and the area, I was certainly not the most qualified person for that assignment. My wife and I met with a very experienced qualified agent that had my brother’s home and three listed for well over a year. His home is a 6,000+ sq ft nice spread about three doors down from my stepmother’s. Unfortunately, it was still for sale. The agent we met with was personable, but not extremely excited.

We then called Kris Anderson as she had a “crew” in that area and asked for a reference. She introduced us to Alesa Ottaway. Alesa was excited, experienced, and a true professional.

The home was appraised for estate purposes at $935,000. It is located in Moon Valley, although a nice area, not your Scottsdale, Paradise Valley or Biltmore cachet. The home is well-appointed with beautiful finishes, pool, four-car garage, and many extras. We listed the home at $1,175,000 and hoped to hit $1,000,000.

Alesa started a week after Thanksgiving, and closed escrow to a cash buyer at $1,110,000 on January 30. Her photos, staging, and relentless effort on our behalf made all the difference. Homes over a million in the Moon Valley area take an average of 448 days to sell. Interestingly, my brother’s home is now in escrow as well. I’m sure Alesa’s addition to the neighborhood had an effect.

Needless to say, our entire family is grateful for the fine representation from Alesa Ottaway and grateful Kris was so spot on with her recommendation.
